a moment when I say to myself, “what is my purpose in life?” or “what the hell am I doing with my precious life??”

I’m sick of just working for a paycheck each week, and I’m tired of applying to jobs that seem to fit into a certain lifestyle that is expected of me. I feel like I’m missing out on an essential part of my life simply because I’m trying to be something society wants me to be. Or something that is accepted by the norm, my parents want me to get a “real job” what the hell does that even mean? Something that will make them happy, and probably make me feel even more lost than I already am right now.

The times when I go to the gym and work out is when I feel motivated… but do I really feel motivated or is that just something that people have come to believe from social norms developed over time?

I’m sitting here in my pajamas, and think I should be out there doing something meaningful with my life… but what?? I would travel all over if I had the money, I think that would make me happy. Something right now is telling me this life is not cutting it. There has to be something more meaningful out there for me, something that is fulfilling and rewarding. Something that has absolutely nothing to do with working a 9-5 job slaving away for someone else’s benefit.

Well, I said I was having a serious moment to myself… I guess I’ll get dressed and try to figure out what I want to do for the rest of the day.
